Visiting a church for the first time can be a daunting experience. At St John's, we’ve tried to put ourselves in your shoes to anticipate your questions and to ensure that you are warmly welcomed and comfortable here.

For more information, email us (see contact page), on Sunday morning visit the coffee hour after, or ask an usher. As members of St John's, anyone you see could also help. For we are many, but we are one body.

How long do services last?
The 8:00am lasts about 35 minutes, while the 10:00 a.m. services usually run about an hour.

What about communion?
We celebrate the Holy Eucharist every Sunday at every service and ALL baptized Christians are welcome to participate. Also, if you wish to refrain from drinking consecrated wine or wish to simply receive a blessing, approach the clergy with arms crossed on your chest and you’ll be offered a quiet blessing.

Where can I park?
We have free parking in our parking lot attached to the church, and also along the street. Handicap parking is available.

What should I wear?
There’s no dress code. Some people dress up in their Sunday best and others show up in jeans and a sweater, whatever feels comfortable and appropriate for you is fine.
